Winners Of Faith Jones Pattern Give-a-Way and Another Give-a-Way

Congratulations to Fran, Robin and Laurel, who have won a pattern from Faith Jones. If you haven’t already, please e-mail me at acbeier71@gmail.com with your mailing address, and the pattern you would like for your prize.

Well, we all know how much quilters love fabrics. But I’ve noticed something else quilters love about as much. Chocolate!! And, Monday October 28, is National Chocolate Day. So my very good friend, Maria, who is a real Chocolatier from Chocolations,http://www.chocolations.com/ in Mamaroneck, New York, and I are offering another little give-a-way. A lovely assortment of truffles, chocolate bark and bon-bons.

Please leave a comment in my comment box letting me know which quilting magazines are your favorites, or telling me what you like most about quilting. This give-a-way can only be done in the U.S. because the prize is edible and perishable. Sorry. I can’t change the rules on this. The winner will be announced on the morning of Tuesday, October 29.

Good Luck!!

  1. oops I think I put the Comment in the Wrong area…. I am a Quilter Wannabe and would like to progress beyond the Simple Squares… and I love Chocolate… I have made some Mug Rugs and potholders… and helped design a Square I appliqued for a Life Quilt for a Good Friend – Each Square represented some thing in her Life or Family etc… Helped Sew the Binding on by hand too..

  2. Yummy! My favorite magazine is Quiltmaker because it has a lot of different projects for different skill levels. I also like McCall's Quilting when they have the special issues for Christmas. The quilts in it are absolutely gorgeous and so inspirational.

  3. Wow, it doesn't get better than this….chocolate and quilting!! My favorite magazine is Quilt Mania. I like the unusual patterns and fabrics that are used in their quilts. Their patterns challenge my craft and make me think in a new way. Thanks for the giveaway!

  4. Creating my own patterns is what I like most about quilting. Well, that and seeing what my pattern actually ends up looking like once it's made up. That's where the real satisfaction kicks in. — soparkaveataoldotcom
