Pin Basting Finished for a Summery Jelly Roll Quilt

Tuesday I scheduled the basting table at Pins and Needles in Mt. Kisco, NY. So I pin basted my jelly roll quilt, which took 3 hours.

The quilt is a double size, and everything went easily once I got the three layers completely smoothed out.

I really needed to be working on my mini quilt for my quilt guild. But during the summer the shop is scheduled with camp classes all day everyday. We will still have our adult clinic’s, which run for two hours. So I’m glad I got this finished and now it is ready to machine quilt.

This morning I will begin to cut and piece the mini quilt.

Linking up with Finish it Up Friday at Crazy Mom Quilts.

Have a great weekend.  Happy quilting.

  1. I think my cat has been re-incarnated in your house! My cat Bear could almost be a twin to your black and white cat, down to the markings on her face! My cat Bear was the smartest cat! Whew! Anyway nice job on your jelly roll quilt.
